The Ironman is fast approaching and farmers are pissed off again.

The Dane County anti-cycling movement is up in arms again. This time, in addition to being angry about all the usual garbage, they are upset about people painting the roads. People have historically marked the roads to help motivate a loved one that is racing. People do this in every race. Did you watch the Tour de France? I guess I can agree that people shouldn't paint the roads, chalk is less permanent, but they've (the town of Cross Plains) demanded $5,000 to remove the paint. What a load.

Oh well. Wish me luck. In fact, paint it on the road if you want to. These folks will be the least of my worries on Sunday.
