This is the last of the Liveblogging sections. To read the entire thing in order, start at the post entitled "Liveblogging to begin shorlty."

Kerry - Talking points. We can do better. I'm a uniter. I will not give other countries a veto power.

Bush - Optimistic because of a painting. The war on terror will be hard, but necessary. Sounds like grandpa there.

And that's it, but first...

How should they have answered the strong woman question?

  • First, buy flowers. Second, dress up. That does not mean a "clean t-shirt." There should be a collar involved.

Next go to a nice restaurant. no Arby's. Buy wine. A whole bottle, not just glasses. And let her pick, if she wants white with steak, so be it.

Next, go home, offer up a back rub, let her pick a movie, or music.

Simple as that. And when I run for president in 20 years, that is what I'll say.

  • Just an FYI: It was weird to read your live blogging in reverse order post facto. I guess it works better live...hence liveblogging.

  • I Agree with Ryan. It was like watching you get less and less drunk when I'm so used to watching you get more and more drunk. Maybe next time you should do it as updates to the same post instead of new posts. Just a thought.

  • I agree with Ryan too. The reason that I had to resort to backwards time posting was due to my computer's slow publishing time. It had an easier time publishing short posts than it did with one increasingly long post. As soon as the debate was over I cleaned out a lot of junk on the old laptop and it spead up enormously, so next time I think it will work.

I lost probably two full pages of stuff at teh beginning because of that problem, so I resorted to the shorter posts as a second best solution.

And I wan't drunk, just ornery. You get sort of an adrenaline rush going when you're trying to type and listen constantly all at the same time.

Still, I know what you mean. In the proper order it builds up to something. Next time.
