I can't believe we lost to a team that can't even keep the lights on properly.

Oh well, there's always next year. Or next week when Michigan loses to OSU. By the way, why is it that when Michigan scores or gets a first down or picks up positive yardage or tackles a special teams player or refills the Gatorade jugs or wins the coin flip or mentions Braylon Edwards on the scoreboard, that they play the Notre Dame fight song?

Just curious.

  • What??? I admit that the band does go a little crazy with "The Victors", but I'm not sure what you're referring to when you accuse them of playing the Notre Dame fight song.

  • Yeah, thanks for your help this weekend! I truly believed (before this weekend) that I was the unluckiest person currently walking the face of the planet. By virtue of the fact that you can blast anything, ANYTHING, with a sticky three-foot thick coating of bad luck/mindlessness/ennui by thought alone, I must cede you the crown.

It is a marvel to behold, and I am deeply humbled.

  • To Jason:

When you're growing up in the Midwest and not in Indiana or Michigan, and you learn to hate both Michigan and Notre Dame, and you're subjected to watching them every Saturday, and they even (usually) play each other every year, those two songs start to sound very similar.

    To Pete:

    No problem.
At least the Packers still won.
